"Breakfast was nice but choice a bit limited as was the main menu. Otherwise no complaints and the food was well presented and tasty. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. "

"If anyone’s planning on booking this hotel especially any families with little kids please avoid. Terrible customer service received from the hotel start to finish. We had to request expedia to get involved to resolve issues on their behalf, very poor customer experience."

"Car park was full in the evening so had to park in a lay-by nearby. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. We were in a top floor room with a very low ceiling that could do with some padding on the corners as it was a safety hazard."

"From the outside the Lakeland doesn’t look very inviting, net curtains looking drab and the white building aging. The staff were lovely and very helpful, got into the room and every step I took, there was some almighty creaking from the floor boards. Had a decent night sleep though! Breakfast was a little disappointing l, there was mouldy bread left out.
