"The couple did a great job renovating this historical hotel. They are very friendly, even lending us their waterproof boots to go to the beach during low tide. If you visit Homer and not in a RV, we highly recommend staying here. Good price, great service and hospitality. I might come to Homer again with my sister and will stay in Moosetide again. Also we got lucky to spot a teenager moose munching outside of our window :)."

"We had a small porch which faced a babbling brook. It had a fire pit. We enjoyed sitting and watching wildlife. There was a moose who walked through. The was a Dipper bird, which is a songbird that can dive in the water and collect insects. Bathrooms were in a separate building. Very high quality bathroom and showers. They were a short distance. We were very happy for our two days. It was very close to Seward."

"The two-night stay was great, in a calm and quiet place, even though it was close to the Alaska Railway. The room was tidy and functional, the service was excellent, and the owner was a wonderful person. The location was very close to Exit Glacier, one of Seward's land attractions. Oh, the stay reminded me of my childhood and youth scouting days."

"This was the worst property we have ever been at. We left immediately as it was so dirty. There was spider in a web in the bath. The coffee pot had water in it, there was no hot water, the bed had crumbs in it. There was a ton of water damage on the ceiling. No soap or shampoo. It just was disgusting. After a 5 minute walkthrough we went back to the office and attempted to cancel. This was immediate. Frankly, Expedia should take this off their site. It was unclean!"
