"Rooms with built in kitchenettes were unique and potentially very accommodating, though we were there only one night and did not use kitchen. Check-in by text with no office worked ok. This is new property so everything clean and in good shape."
"The view of the glaciers and the Cook Inlet is spectacular. The room was nice, clean, and quiet. The trail down to the private beach is a nice walk to the water's edge. "
"We loved our night at the lodge. We checked in and went to view the Exit Glacier and came in late with no issues. Very nice people!!! Clean comfortable room!!!"
"Loved the location being at the end of the spit. It was a short walk to the shops and food. The resort was going through some renovations at the front desk area which should help make it look more refreshed. "
"This place was really cute. It has a lot to offer with the lake the snore area. We really enjoyed it. Just note that the showers and bathrooms are not in the cabin."
"O atendimento foi um dos pontos mais altos, fizemos a reserva de um quarto sem banheiro privativo, o hotel entrou em contato logo apos a reserva para termos certeza que sabiamos que seria assim. Quando chegamos os quartos apesar de sem banheiro, são antigos mas bem limpos, chegam a ser engraçados por algumas antiguidades, mas que dão um ar de cidade de interior parada no tempo."
"Outside of town, nice to be away from all the hubbub but still close enough to resupply easily. Pack in and out essentially. Good kitchenette accomodations (plates, cookware, salt/pepper, coffee fixings). Great little place to get away.
2 small cons:
Payment was required much sooner than check in, which I didn't expect when booking through Expedia.
The propane tank we dead empty, so I had to refill in town. Even then, the grill barely warmed up to cook out shrimp."
"Restaurant was friendly and inviting, especially without them having internet interruptions unfortunately ,But the staff was still in full swing carrying on like nothing happened they were excellent 👍 👏 "
"Staff is super friendly. Hotel is being remodeled but very clean and you can't even tell. The rooms are comfortable, clean and very homey vs the very hotel set up at most places. Will definitely stay here on my next visit to the area."
