"Our room was a rustic retreat! We loved the whole resort that had an exceptional welcoming front desk staff. Our room was comfy. A bit dated but that’s the rustic retreat look that made it feel so cozy. There’s a wood fire stove in the room but we didn’t use it because it was so warm that evening. Breakfast and dinner was very good!! I ordered a soup and did not like it, my husband loved his. They brought me something else and were so nice about it."

"Me and my husband had a wonderful stay of one night at this small and cozy space. It is very well located between Anchorage and Seward, if you would like to take your time to explore Keanu Peninsula. The house is beautiful, the room (king bed) huge and very cozy. The place is beautiful, clean, and made us fell like home. Extremely quite, private and highly recommend. The breakfast was delicious: French toast with berries and sausage. "Room has everything you would need. Jacuzzi tub fills up fast and plenty of hot water. AC is cold and the gas fireplace is a cool addition."

"The rooms were better than we expected. It had a small kitchenette with microwave and a full size fridge which helped us with some boxed meals during our stay"

"Good location outside of Seward at the beginning of the scenic drive toward Exit Glacier. Our room did have a private bathroom and shower with the sink being in the main room. The two queen room was very space on furniture, you basicly have to live out of your suitcase on the floor. The weather was warm (64-70F) and with no a/c (very common in Alaska) and no cross fentilation the room was very difficult to cool down."

"The two-night stay was great, in a calm and quiet place, even though it was close to the Alaska Railway. The room was tidy and functional, the service was excellent, and the owner was a wonderful person. The location was very close to Exit Glacier, one of Seward's land attractions. Oh, the stay reminded me of my childhood and youth scouting days."

"Ocean Shores is a wonderful little “mom and pop” motel. The property is very clean and well kept. Rooms are very basic but beds are comfortable. The view is amazing!!!!"

"What a great experience! The Yurt was great! It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! There is no bathroom in the Yurt - - there are portable toilets and a shower a short walk away. Overall I would recommend this for a unique Alaska experience!"
