"Rundown place with no amenities, and yet there is no effort to compensate with service. Booked the lodge, told I was actually in a bare bones "motel" across the street. Despite being mostly empty, they put me in a room next to another guest-- for their convenience I suspect-- but the thin walls meant being awakened when they arose at four a.m."

"I absolutely loved the view from our room. We had a huge window that looked straight out over the river. Also, those windows had blackout shades. So the Alaskan summer can be turned off when it is time to sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. The property was well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. Check-in, checkout was very easy."
