Assured us she could provide transportation pickup from the bus drop off to her lodge. This was NOT true! When we called for a pick up, she said she was too busy and could not pick us up. We then had to scramble to find another way to get to the lodge! So unprofessional! During our 1 night stay, she just seemed very unfriendly. ...

"This resort is fabulous! Maddie is a fabulous host along with her family. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and relaxing! The attached restaurant next-door has the very best crab legs I’ve ever had. The service was phenomenal too. Be sure and order the breakfast in the morning. It’s homemade and very tasty. I can’t say enough about this resort. Thank you again Maddie for memorable stay!"

"The rooms are very small. The sink is located in with the main room, not within a bathroom. They do not have 24/7 complimentary coffee. The breakfast was pretty good for a hotel buffet. The pool is tiny and everything in that room is rusted and it is very hot and humid. They definitely have a humidity control issue. We stayed 4 days and had to change out our own trash, ask for towels etc. all but 1 day. Overall, location is convenient and it is clean, just poor upkeeping."

"Me and my husband had a wonderful stay of one night at this small and cozy space. It is very well located between Anchorage and Seward, if you would like to take your time to explore Keanu Peninsula. The house is beautiful, the room (king bed) huge and very cozy. "What a great experience! The Yurt was great! It was super clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable! There is no bathroom in the Yurt - - there are portable toilets and a shower a short walk away. Overall I would recommend this for a unique Alaska experience!"

"This is a good "brand" type hotel, new and well-appointed and reasonable. With eagles nesting in the parking lot trees. A decent location, close to a supermarket and restaurants, very helpful staff. It also works as a corporate events place but the rates were normal."
