"We always love staying in Bear Lake because it's not that far from Seward and we were able to bring our two dogs. The cabin was actually better than the pictures portrayed, and the owner really did think of everything. I was surprised that it was stocked with so much stuff because sometimes you get to your rental place and it's the bare minimum. The property is tucked a little bit back and there is a lot of privacy with a large yard. We got the full Alaska experience, seeing a moose one morning...

It was a quick drive from the Kenai, and its close proximity to Seward suited all of our needs while being secluded enough to enjoy our privacy.
