"What an AMAZING property! The views are just beautiful from this mountain top cabin. It was perfect for my husband and I. The weather wasn’t ideal during our stay in Homer so on rainy days we stayed in and enjoyed the dry view. It’s snuggled into a wooded area on a dead end road so was extremely quiet. "My husband and I wanted to stay here forever. What a magical place. The views are outstanding, the kitchen is fully stocked for a long stay, and the bed was so cozy and comfortable. "This cabin seriously blew me away with the uniqueness that it was built with. The host gave us a tour of all of his custom built cabins that he has on the property and was thoughtful enough to gift us a bottle of champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday. "Everything from the home itself to the responsiveness of the property owner was 5 stars! I would give 6 stars if able. The Silver Salmon Lodge is the perfect space for an Alaskan get away. The home was clean and cozy. It is close to anything you need in Sterling/Soldotna and a perfect midpoint if you are trying to enjoy Homer and Seward. The freezer was a big plus for keeping our fish frozen from the beginning to the end of the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Alaska!"

"The two-night stay was great, in a calm and quiet place, even though it was close to the Alaska Railway. The room was tidy and functional, the service was excellent, and the owner was a wonderful person. The location was very close to Exit Glacier, one of Seward's land attractions.
