"The park was close to all the activities I wanted to do. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything you needed was here, gas and groceries if you were caught short. Walk around the grounds and there were lots of kangaroos and geese. The cabin was fantastic, modern, clean and cosy."

"We had 3 nights here and it was great. Very close to the beach (easy walk). The owner Ian was great, and couldn't be more helpful. Unfortunately the internet wasn't working, but this was not the owner's fault. Otherwise our stay was perfect and in a great location if you want to see the whole island."

"We loved the Shak! Very spacious and clean. Great location for visiting sites on the south of KI. And we especially loved seeing all of the wallabies right outside (one night there were 10 at once, and one even had a joey). This is a special place and we highly recommend it. "

Fantastic location just across from the jetty/bay, and we loved the isolation and waking up to the sounds of the bay. Owner was a delight to work with in terms of check in times. This is a very special place and we will definitely be back there again."

"This property is gorgeous. A very private setting with beautiful views of river and bush and we had stunning sunsets to enjoy. The two kyaks were such a bonus as the river was glassy for 2 days while we there. The pool table was fun too even though in need of repair and levelling. A superb spot to go."
