"Lovely home, surrounded by trees and with beautiful view of the mountains. Close to fantastic hiking and solid options for eating out, and a quick drive to Lake Placid if you want a bit more variety or to do some shopping. This was the cleanest rental house I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve rented a lot over the years. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The owners were thorough and responsive. Would love to return in the future!"

"This was a beautiful cozy place. So Lovely decorated. With little kitchenette amenities enough to fix simple breakfast/ lunch. A table to sit at. Nice clean modern bathroom. Nice entrance. Private. Close to hikes (25-30 minutes from LOJ trail head parking. It allowed me to bring my dog. It was perfect for what we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions. I’d stay again without hesitation. "

"Beautiful well kept home, perfect for our short one night stay! The owner, Tom, was very gracious and friendly and went out of his way to contact us to insure we understood how to turn on the heat for an unusually cold night. Gave us special accommodations for an early check-in. Would recommend and stay here again."

"The house was perfect for us! We had plenty of space, enjoyed the large kitchen, the patio, the hot tub and having fires outside in the evening. The kids loved the pool table and ping pong table. We had a blast! The house was clean, beds comfortable, great appliances and the house was well-stocked with everything we needed. We would come back and stay again! "

"Cabin is awesome, well appointed and comfortable. High ceiling makes it feel roomy even though it is small, and ingenious layout has separate spaces for everything, which is nice if you want to rise early to see sunrise but your partner wants to sleep in. I loved it so much. Really dark when I arrived—if the exterior light had been on when I got there and maybe one interior one, this would have been a flawless stay. Early mornings sitting in front of a fire place, late nights in a hot tub and outdoor firepit, rainy days sitting inside the screened in porch area- listening to the rain come down and playing board games, billiards table and secluded gaming area for the little ones/teenagers. My only negatives would be the grill needs to be deep scrubbed/grates replaced because its definitely seen its fair share of usage and making sure batteries to remotes are changed...

"This place was absolutely amazing. It had everything we needed in the house and every time we thought we needed to go get something. It was already there. Gaby was great and so far as texting and keeping me informed on things. We actually reached out to see if we could do it again, but unfortunately, it looks like she’s booked. This woman deserves a gold star for this place."

"The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies and utensils that made the stay easier. The location was perfect for a 15-20 minute walk to restaurants and shops. It was also a short drive to by trials to walk and hike. We enjoyed our stay!"

"The balcony and dock are amazing. The location is absolutely perfect. The town of lake placid and all it surroundings are at your finger tips here.The two rooms, one with one queen bed and one with two queen beds were perfect.The living room and tv were easy to use.The kitchen was reasonably well-stocked and everything worked. It was such a win for our family."
