"We were looking for an economical place to stay with limited notice and this worked out well. Owners run an efficient service: check in was easy (even for a late evening arrival) and they provide a convenient grab and go breakfast bag. Room was clean and well equipped (mini frig, microwave and small sink). My only complaint is the condition of the shower curtain…they need a better arrangement to avoid mildew/mold. "This facility is dated but clean enough. Stayed for the Lax Tourney, so super convenient to the fields. Coffee maker didn't work well but minor issue. Certainly one of the best deals in the area."

"Eastwind is a very unique property. You are surrounded by nature and the vibe is very European. Rooms have lotsa wood and interesting touches. The pool was super clean and brisk. You're within walking distance (20 min) to lake placid and there's a good restaurant nearby - Sentinel & Station Large bonfires at night w smores and a lovely walking path to a nearby creek. I would have given them 5 stars but my bed was pretty uncomfortable I still would stay there again"
