There are two comfortable and stylish bedrooms from which to choose. The first bedroom features wrap around panoramic ocean views, a Queen bed, air conditioning (A/C), ceiling fan, floor to ceiling blackout curtains, an en-suite private bathroom, large closet and a sliding screen door that leads out to the lanai. Freshening up is a joy in the well-appointed bathroom featuring a shower with handheld sprayer, soft towels, hairdryer, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) and other thoughtful travel amenities like sunscreen and bug repellant for your waterfall hikes and beach days.

Guest access:
Guests have access to the entire unit and yard. There are no shared spaces.

Other things to note:
All of the Big Island is rural and therefore can have the sounds of coqui frogs and roosters (they are wild throughout Hawaii) at night. Our retreat backs up to the ocean so most of these sounds will not bother you here.


Paradise Ocean Vista is perfectly centrally located to all of the best tourism destinations and beaches on the East side of the Big Island! We are less than 50 minutes from Volcanoes National Park and one of the closest oceanfront rentals to the volcano.

House Rules:
No Parties or Events allowed. No outside guests. No visitors. No one is allowed on the property except the guests on the original booking. Quiet hours per local laws are 9pm to 7am. Our entire property is a non-smoking environment. If you need to smoke, please smoke outside the house and just outside the gate on the street and dispose of your cigarettes afterward in the trash can. Please take care of the furnishings. Do not move any of the furniture or rocks on the property. Please turn the Air Conditioning off when you leave and when you are not using it. Hawaii has the highest electricity rates in the country, so please help with this! Please do not touch or close the gate. Local regulations require us to keep the gate open at all times for emergency vehicles. Please do not move the boulders in front of the gate for any reason. For your safety and security we have 24 hour security and two (2) cameras on the property facing the outside perimeter of the house so we can see if any unauthorized people enter the property. No cameras face the interior of the house. Per VRBO rules, there are no cameras inside the house. Tampering with or shutting off the security cameras is not allowed and can end your reservation. Violation of any of the above that results in additional costs will be billed to the guests, including but not limited to: noise complaint fines, excessive cleaning services, repair costs for damaged items. Guests agree to pay additional fees within 72 hours of checkout. Please note that we expect all guests to follow all rules at all times. We are willing to enforce all rules up to and including ending the reservation.
