"The accommodation side is too close to the bar and club, they played loud music until midnight which kept our whole family awake. Breakfast is very limited choice with small variety of food compares with the price. However the lake view is really beautiful and the food in restaurant is amazing too."

"Booked a family room for 1 night, 1 Queen bed and 2 singles but was given much smaller room upon checking in, this mistake was quickly rectified. Family Room is very spacious and was affordable given it was school holiday weekend. The room has heating so it was nice and cosy for winter. We were surprised to find Netflix here as well, which was a bonus. Would recommend for a quick weekend getaway."

"Upon arrival at the motel we were concerned , it is currently undergoing major reconstruction and renovation, this is not mentioned in the motels site listing on Expedia. It looks like a demolition site and we were not even sure if we had the right place. Upon finding the office a friendly enough gentleman checked us in and sort of apologised for the state of the place. "Did a solo overnight stay to capture the sunset at Long Jetty and the sunrise at Crackneck Lookout and the location is well located to access both by car within 15min. The rooms are dated, but clean. I stayed in the one bedroom loft and it had everything I needed for the night and more. Kitchen with oven, microwave, stove, washing machine and dryer, balcony, shower. Getting the ocean view room is a must, the views are absolutely amazing. "The hotel is well maintained and recently painted but that was the issue. The overwhelming smell of oil based paint made it very difficult to sleep or enjoy our stay. Was disappointing."

The property is a little older and could benefit from some fresh paint and maintenance, particularly the fly screens, which need some attention.
