"What a view!!! Can't get any closer to the ocean. Saw many whales from the balcony in the distance - bring binoculars! Clean, great shower with plenty of hot water, very comfy king bed, heated pool & hot tub, amazing central location to more easily reach Haleakala, Hana, the airport, etc. Thanks, Doug!!!"

"Overall, our stay was good. We did have a couple of issues while there. First of all, the dryer was not working, but a couple of phone calls got a maintenance technician out to repair it. While there he also replaced the refrigerator light bulb which blew on day 2. He didn't have the correct bulb, but used a substitute which was considerably dimmer, but worked. The last issue was a lack of any kind of mixing and/or serving bowls. We made do with baking pans, etc., but still, no bowls? "

"The lanai view of the harbor, jetty, whales, and turtles is mesmerizing. Ma’alaea is an excellent location — easy drive to anywhere on Maui plus the Maui Ocean Center, the cruises out of the harbor, and the shops — loved it all."

"Fantastic location! Very well supplied- great assortment of dishes and glasses, good AC in living area and bedroom. Comfy bed. Easy instructions for entry. Some things need updating but nothing that upset our trip. Very responsive to questions and concerns. Didn’t give a 5 b/c it is in need of updates"
