"My room, 417, was on the back side of the hotel right next to the freeway. The road noise was horrific and sleep was almost impossible. My little 10 lb dog was having anxiety attacks most the night due to the noise. The coffee maker in the room was insufficient and was not one that could use the k-cups that we brought with us. The desk lamp has an electrical short in the wiring. Every time we tried to use it the strobing made us fear it was a fire hazard. As a person on a very strict diet,...

"The hotel has just been remodeled and everything was clean and new. The breakfast buffet was good, with a number of options. Elsa at the front desk was great! She helped us get checked in early because of a business function that we'd be attending. And then made sure that we had parking in the underground parking lot. She was friendly, professional, and happy. Next time we're going to the Tacoma Dome, we'll stay at this hotel."

"The photos on the website are very misleading compared to what you see in person. The room was much smaller than it appeared online. I understand the hotel is rated 6.2, but there should still be some basic standards. The biggest issue was the smell. "This is overall a great hotel for a short stay. It's obvious it has been updated/remodeled within the past couple years and that they have tried really hard to make it a very welcoming place. The only minor complaints I'd say are the bathroom was VERY small, like barely able to open the door to get to the toilet and shower and sink was on the outside of the bathroom and only a single sink. As I mentioned, minor inconvenience that still works, just poor design. The other minor things would be...
