"We have been coming to Schroon Lake every year for over 40 years. This was our first stay at the Maple Leaf Motel. We only stayed one night, but the accommodations were perfect for our stay. "The room was clean, housekeeping was fantastic and accommodating. Front desk was helpful. Kids loved the pool, hot tub was a perfect temp.

"This was our first time staying here and we were very upset about our stay.
The room obviously was not cleaned to the point of being gross. There was a brown smeared stain on the shower curtain sitting next to the toilet, dust dusting all the cubbies for the towels that we needed to use, a small cut straw left on the counter behind the Kleenex dispenser and the tub and shower were both dirty. "Absolutely terrible worst hotel I ever … the room was dirty I had no pillows or blankets checking in. They gave me sheets in a bag to make my bed that were dirty with stains the breakfast was not there the guy said she called out. Old stale food.. bad staff they where no where to be found only one staff member was good as checking in his name was criag he was super friendly.. "
