"First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!"

"Two four-legged hosts, Bella and Sammy escorted us to Bird Camp which was warm and welcoming when we arrived! They stayed a bit to make sure we felt at home. This was one of the quietest and most peaceful locations we have stayed at. After a day of skiing, we enjoyed relaxing in the sentou - custom built Japanese bath house. "Simple mountain cabin in remote location. Space in great for a couple or two singles. Property has plenty of elbow room with several other structures spread out across a giant clearing next to a lake. We hiked, swam, kayaked, fished and relaxed and enjoyed the views. We cooked dinner on the charcoal grill, and drank our morning coffee while listening to the birds. Hosts were attentive and chatted with us a few times. "
