"Traveled with two small kids. The best location to stay if your visiting Jamestown, Yorktown and Colonial Williamsburg. Easy access to higway. Gas station and krogers within the walking distance, as well as other shops/restaurants. Hotel & room are clean, breakfast is excellent. 10/10"
"The staff at the Inn is so helpful and accommodating, the breakfast is delicious. Plus the added bonus of a live history lesson on the Battle of Yorktown during breakfast was so amazing! "
"Everything was great except one incident and not that big a deal We had went to the bar to get an advertised drink (literally advertised everywhere) and the girl was out of all the ingredients which seemed strange. "
"The customer service was outstanding at this property. I have no idea how we received VIP status, unless Expedia arranged this, but my kids and I were given the 5 star treatment, including vouchers to use in the restaurant. I highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area."

"I've stay here several times. Although it's not a newer hotel, they do everything right! I'm not big on breakfast but there was a varied spread and I heard no complaints from anyone. It was nice to see the kitchen staff smiling and speaking to people. "
"This was out second stay at Smithfield Inn. It is a beautiful inn. The staff was very nice & hospitable. The first time we stayed we ate breakfast in the inn dining room which was much better than the bakery/cafe where your abreast now."
