"Room 930 is very worn and in need of maintenance. The bathroom vanity is heavily worn, and the exposed wood should be refinished, painted, or stained to improve the appearance. "The room was clean and most of the staff was very nice. It was a little noisy but sometimes you just have that in a busy hotel on a holiday weekend. They charged an refundable $100 fee for incidentals. Haven't received my refund yet. Hopefully this week."

"The AC in our King bed with pull out sofa bed room was terrible. Temperature could not be controlled. Wall thermostat was almost unusable. Expedia stated a $100 pet fee when I booked, but I was charged $150. In addition, there was no mention of a daily parking fee of $5.30 when I booked or at check-in. We left a day early and I understand we would not be refunded that last night even though we did not stay there, but we were also charged that parking fee for a parking space we did not use. The...

"We were very impressed by this property. Staff was very helpful, rooms clean and well maintained. On site restaurant very convenient. Location central to greater Newport News area. Would definitely stay again."
