“Comfy Cozy Rental Cabin” just minutes from the North end of Lake Quachita.

Located close to the North end of Lake Ouachita. With accesses to the Lake all just a few minutes from the home so, bring your boats, kayaks/canoes. The swimming area is approximately an 8 minute drive down from the home. Come back to the home after enjoying the Lake and kick back and relax cook s’mores or hot dogs in the fire pit located in the back yard or just relax on the big front porch. The home is surrounded by a wooden privacy fence with two 16 foot long metal mesh gates one in front that swing's open and one on the side. There is a small back porch with a porch swing. There is also walking trail that is a short driving distance from the home. Take a drive to the beautiful downtown Hot Springs where you can visit the Historical Bathhouse Row, Oaklawn Casino, and enjoy a day of shopping and dining at the many stores and restaurants. Come and enjoy!

Was there from July 19th-26thThe little cabin in the woods was the perfect place to get away from the city life. I went there to just think about things, and it gave me that solitude. It was clean and well stocked. The gift basket was a Godsend! Theresa was the perfect host, seeing to all our needs.It's close to all the best places to fish, kayak, swim, or whatever your heart desires. I will be back for another adventure in the near future. Maybe when it gets cooler. Thank you, Theresa, for offering this place to all of us! Judy

July 4th 2025

We arrived to a decorated property. The host Theresa had flags around the fence and a gift basket waiting when we walked in, such a sweet touch. The house was clean and nicely decorated, we felt comfortable right away. We picked this house because we have family in the area, it ended up to be a 2 minute walk to my brother’s cabin which was a bonus. It was just my husband and our boat and Waverunner but, we ended up getting two puppies the Saturday before, when I messaged Theresa about bringing them, she said it was fine, we also asked about coming a day earlier, she was very accommodating to our changes. She has everything you need at the house and then some. The parking was a little tight with what we brought but the yard is big with 2 gates which was helpful. We enjoyed our stay and it’s only minutes to launch the toys. We hope to come back soon.

Great host

The property was exactly what we needed for a proper price. Close to the lake for swimming and boating and close to hiking trails. The property is central to the mines of Jessieville and mt ida. The host was quick and responsive. No cameras! I hate feeling like im being watched. Overall a great stay.

Great Getaway

This location is a bit off the beaten path but very nice with a good size fenced yard for our larger dogs. They loved it! Theresa was very helpful and quick to respond. The home was very comfortable and clean! We loved the fenced yard and back porch to enjoy the outdoors while our dogs got to explore. The house had everything we needed. Theresa even left a sweet goodie basket with snacks and toiletries and there were even dog bowls for our dogs! Theresa thought of everything! I would highly recommend for a secluded, away from it all, type of getaway! So nice to find homes that appreciate families with animals! Thank you Theresa!

Cozy little retreat

We spent 4 days in Theresa‘s cabin. It is conveniently and quietly located for easy access to the lakes shore. Clean and fully equipped cabin, with enough room to sleep a family of five comfortably. It is a bit older, but everything is nicely maintained and working. We enjoyed coming back to this cool and cozy retreat after a hot day on the lake. Only downside is the very slow Internet, which works fine for checking the news or messaging, but if you have to download bigger chunks of data (offline maps or movies) you better have that done prior to your arrival. Cell phone reception was enough though to use our phone‘s data. Overall we recommend this cabin. Hard to find a better deal. We‘d gladly come back.

We found the cabin comfortable and secluded! We enjoyed spending time together unplugged and really appreciated our dog being included in our gift basket from Theresa! 10/10 would stay again!

Close to lake, trails and has huge yard great for dogs

Traveled with dogs, they loved the giant fenced in lot. Has a nice outdoor area with furniture, grill and bench swing. Cozy and great for hiking trip. Heads up its far away from any stores but can see stars very well since it is far.

Peaceful and very clean!

We needed to get away from work/school and this was just the place! The location is a bit off the beaten path but walking distance to the lake and boat launch. Theresa was very helpful and quick to respond. The home was pretty comfortable and very clean! We loved the fenced yard and back porch to enjoy coffee and reading outside while the family dog got to explore. We took a drive to Hot Springs to explore the downtown area and to hike. The Buckville swimming area was nearby and a great place to hangout for the afternoon The house had everything we needed. The water pressure was great and satellite tv to watch some March Madness. Theresa even left a sweet goodie basket with snacks, toiletries and dog toys. Recommend!

Wonderful Home

We enjoyed this relaxing property very much! It was a quiet, peaceful area. Very close drive to the beautiful lake. Communication with the host was very quick and helpful. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend!
