"The room was small but clean and had very poor amenities. Over $700 for (2) nights was outrageous and comparable with a motel six at the best. There wasn't a front desk for information. Everything you needed you had to request on-line. I was in a hurry threw some clothes out of the washer thinking I could iron once in the hotel . No iron or ironing board inside the room. The tv was like a puzzle and had to buy shows to watch. No iron or ironing board. No closet for your clothes and cabinet space...

"When we arrived at 11pm that night. Doors were locked knocked for 15 mins. Thank goodness another person staying at the hotel seen us and let us in. Guy behind the counter didn’t care, didn’t greet us, didn’t apologize, very cold and borderline rude. This is our second year staying at this hotel and I’m not sure if we’ll book again when we come back next year. the morning lady who also stocked the breakfast was absolutely amazing and gave our daughter some food to feed the turtles. "Great location, historic bathhouse row charm, convenient. BUT very run down, neglected, attention to detail was lacking. Quite expensive considering the condition of the property and the "amenities" offered. Resort fees and parking fees felt like insult-to-injury. That being said, once the renovation is complete I would probably stay again and it would feel like a better value."

"Very clean indoors! Beautiful view, lots of space for outdoor lounging, and visiting with geese, ducks & turtles in backyard and waters edge. Well appointed kitchen with everything you would need if you want to cook in, but close enough to shops if you want to eat out. Couple small hiccups but we let host know about them, general maintenance things that may get missed if using a cleaning service. Would definitely stay again, neighbors were friendly as well. "
