    Located at the Villas by the Sea Resort, you will have access to the community pool, kids play area, volleyball court, fitness center and boardwalk to the beach behind the Rockerfeller Building. Villas by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry rooms accessible with your key cards.


    Nearest Beach Boardwalk Crossover: Villas by the Sea South end crossover behind Rockefellar and Stanton buildings.

Property was pet friendly, upstairs balcony was nice but cramped, bringing keys to office could be avoided by allowing renters to leave keys in structure instead of having to bring to office.

Great view of the ocean. Tides were high while we were there due to a storm that passed through so we did not have direct access to beach from our condo, but the view was great. Everything was clean and there were plenty of items in the starter kit for the whole time we were there. All the beds were comfortable, as well as the furniture downstairs. We rented bikes and ride everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back

Loved the location. We stay at the Villas every year and we’re never disappointed. Always clean (the grounds and the condo). The added shade to the pool is a nice touch! We’ve rented with Jekyll Island reality before, too, and they’re always nice and the units are always meticulously cleaned. Thanks for a great vacay!

The most relaxing get away

The villa was exactly as it was listed. The check in and check out process was really easy. This was a beautiful getaway for us. The ocean is just a few steps away and we love how welcomed we felt as soon as we arrived. thank you so much!

The one surprise to us was it cost 10 each day if you went off the island pay to come back on for some they should tell you up front so it’s not a shock when you find out

You know that there is really no beach at this place so we packed up and went to a public parking place and set up our chairs. loved the seafood. The condo was perfect for us in our late 60's.

You'd give up a lot for that view - and you do.

My immediate reaction was to call Jekyll Realty and report that the condo hadn't been cleaned. But then I looked at it and realized that it was just stained. EVERYWHERE. Doors, the fridge, the toilet, the tub, the walls - you name it. A fresh coat of paint on everything would do wonders. Every piece of furniture in the house except the house, coffee, end tables in the living room and TV stand was wicker. Old, 1980s wicker - not the cool new plastic stuff. The bed was hard, squeaked loudly enough to wake me from my sleep, and the pillow were so flat I had to stack 4 of them to make one decent one. The kitchen was lacking as well - no measuring cups, no salt and pepper, no ice maker, no cutting board, and the pot handle broke in half while I was making dinner on the last night. But the view is to die for (even if the bedroom balcony railing is just BARELY too tall to really be able to sit and enjoy it unfettered. I loved being able to walk out the back door and be right on the beach. You can see the SSI lighthouse from the bedroom balcony, and walking to Driftwood was a breeze. Overall I loved the location and the view, but I'll find somewhere else to stay in the same complex next time. There are no streaming device options and only one DVD player (available options say 2), and there were no batteries in the DVD player remote, so plan ahead if you decide to brave it.

The code was given to us by a representative of Jekyll Realty the day of check in. The space was clean, the views were beautiful and the overall property of villas by the sea was very nice. We did encounter some cockroaches (palmetto bugs) in our bed, which set an uneasy feeling for the duration of the trip, but that was really the only negative review I have of the unit.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa 185! The beach view from the master and the downstairs living room was a joy and relaxing! The refrigerator was rusty outside but it was clean. The master bed creaks when turning in bed. overall it was a nice place to stay 😊

Had a great week. Condo was clean and comfortable but definitely in need of some updates and attention. We’ve stayed at Villas by the Sea many times and this is the first time we’ve been a bit disappointed in the room.
