"The Jazzy 6 loved the accommo- dations and the kitchen was great. Stocked with seasonings, coffee and tea. Marykim was a wonderful hostess. She had our golf cart delivered to Idol Hour and our Smith Island Strawberry cake was in the refrigerator waiting for us. We loved Idol Hour and would stay again. "This was a perfect place to stay, a bit far from our daily destination of Assateague but worth the drive for a place to unload and I unwind and relax without worrying about disturbing anyone, and with enough space for the whole family. We took advantage of the dock for crabbing and watching the sunset. Easy to get to, well stocked, easy to use and take care of, we would definitely stay here again."

"The property is beautiful and every space is very spacious and comfortably appointed. It is isolated but at the same time very close to Walmart and Food Lion, and just 15 minutes away from Wallops, and 30 from Chincoteague. The kitchen was extremely well supplied, including cooking oil, salt and other conveniences that we have seldom found in rentals (we had actually brought our own). Because of its location, the sky was full of stars. Only instructions for dealing with trash on...

"We had an amazing time!! Hosts were incredibly responsive, the place was stocked with beyond anything we could have needed. Access to kayaks and paddle boards was special and so fun to be directly on the water. Our dog was also incredibly happy with all the exploring and swimming she got to enjoy. This place is a gem!"

"We absolutely loved our stay on Smith island in this adorable cottage. Laura the host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Being first timers to the island, I had several questions that were answered very quickly. The cottage was clean, well stocked (which is important for this type of unique experience) and decorated very cute. The local people were very friendly and we enjoyed the scenery of the island. We will definitely be back!"

"This was our first time renting this property and will probably be a yearly stay from here on out. It was a great vacation. We appreciated all the little things as well such as, 3-in-1body was for men and women, kitchen supplies like zip lock bags, firewood and propane for the grill. There are a lot more things but that is just some to mention. Our pups really enjoyed the stay as well. "
