Mermaid Den - Hosted By Moore AI Rentals

The Mermaid Den encompasses everything beach with bright colors, coastal art, and an easy atmosphere. Centrally located in Forest Ridge Villages (near the entrance) guests have access to the pool, playground, tennis courts, grilling area, and only a short walk to the beach.

This three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit is on the second story (you must utilize the stairs) surrounded by large, twisting oak trees dripping in Spanish moss.

Upon entering the unit guests are greeted by a clean, comfortable, and charming space. The main living area is equipped with a sofa, chair, new sliding glass doors that lead to the balcony, and a large flat-screen TV providing access to online streaming with YouTube TV. The dining room table can accommodate six people comfortably and the bar stools add an additional two seats.

The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials including a NEW dishwasher, pots/pans, cookware, baking dishes, coffee maker (Keurig), toaster, and blender. Down the hall, you will find a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo, washer/dryer and three bedrooms.

The master bedroom has a King bed, TV, closet and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The second room has a Queen bed, walk-in closet,and TV. The third room has a twin bed and a walk-in closet.

Although this rental is not located beachfront, it is only a 200-yard walk and your toes will be in the sand. Amelia Island features a wide array of tourist attractions such as uncrowded beaches, historic buildings, fine restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and many diverse recreational activities such as top-rated golf courses, tennis, beachcombing, sailing, jet-skiing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, miniature golf, volleyball, horseback riding, surfing, biking, and more. History buffs will appreciate Fort Clinch and our Historic Downtown area.

Fresh linens, towels and a starter kit of disposables are provided (travel-size shampoo/conditioner and body wash along with a limited number of laundry pods, dish pods, coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and one sponge.)

There is one designated parking spot along with Visitor parking.

Great location

We were down from michigan to visit my daughter that is training in brunswick. We wanted the beach and a pool. This was perfect for both. Walking distance to beach and pool right on complex. We used both. We had my granddaughter who is 18 months old and goes to bed at 7 or 8.. our bed in our room made a lot of noise so we had to be careful to not wake the baby. Other than that the room was great.. i enjoyed the coffee compliments of owners and the room was clean. We had the wifi go out while there but they were on it right away. We didnt care though because we dont watch tv anyway. Loved the amount of room we had in the place. The location being close to the beach and to town was geeat. Thank you

We thought the condo was great, had everything we needed and was kid friendly. Walk to beach was about 5 minutes, safe. Pool was far better than expected!

Overall it was a decent experience. The owner(s) was amazing and had very quick reaponse times!! Only issues were that the beds were ungodly uncomfortable and were spring mattress so any little move you made squaked and was so loud. Most of us barely got much sleep. Also 90% of the cabinet/drawers had there handles falling off. Other then that it was a decent place for the price we payed and hopefully they can get those couple things fixed because we would love to come again

Our group have stayed at this complex on several occasions for the Georgia/florida football game weekend. This was our first visit to the Mermaid Den. The property was clean and comfortable, however could use some updates. The complex that the Mermaid Den is located is run by an HOA, and the HOA Needs to clean up exterior around the entryways spiderweb/cobwebs all around stairs and ceilings and doors.

Perfect for couples or families. Spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Close to the beach and pool access, if desired. Quiet neighborhood. Didn't want to leave and will plan to return. Loved Amelia Island.

Nice vacation

We enjoyed our stay. We had a minor issue with the televisions, but the property manager responded immediately and was able to fix the situation very quickly. We would stay at this property again. The only recommendation we would make is the vacuum that was provided was broken, it wasnā€™t a big deal because it wasnā€™t even advertised in the listing, but coming from the beach every day it wouldā€™ve been easier to keep up on the cleanliness throughout our stay if we had a working vacuum. Overall though nice property, exactly as listed, pleasant experience with property management and wonderful location.

Perfect spot for the Amelia Island Concours. Easy access to the shows and the rest of the island. Very close to the beach as well. Extremely high priced but almost normal for that weekend. Worked for us.

We enjoyed our stay. There were a few little things with lightbulbs out, TV remote issues, etc. Overall a very good experience though. No information for check in on booking or email but property manager responded immediately and was very kind and helpful.

My family wanted a place close to the beach and family friendly. The Mermaids Den was a perfect spot. It was either a quick walk or drive to the beach. The managers were very efficient and quick to respond to messages.

There was a woman walking around harassing the guest for simple things such as shoes being left by the door. Wet, sandy shoes that she said could cause a $1000 fine! We sat our trash out while cleaning and it was storming. It wasnā€™t out there 5 minutes and she was knocking on the door telling us we had to take it immediately. This was our third year there and never experienced this before. I feel like she was watching g our every move! Including taking pics of cars.

Great getaway

We were very happy to find a clean condo. Comfortable bed. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach. The local restaurants were close by. We enjoyed the bike trails. Our favorite was Fort Clinch. So much to do and super location, close to everything. We would stay again.

We absolutely loved staying here, it was super clean, very quiet, it was decorated so nicely. We will definitely be back. Everyone was so professional and kind. The location was fantastic as well. Excellent property!! Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!
