Jax Beach House w/Pool and Outdoor Oasis

LJā€™s beach house is located in beautiful North Jacksonville Beach, situated 5 short blocks from the beach. The House offers three bedrooms and two full baths. Sleeping arrangements can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people and provides the perfect getaway, family vacation, office retreat or just time away from the daily grind. The outdoor area is a tropical oasis where you can relax and unwind. Back yard includes a large pool, connected hot-tub, fire pit, large covered porch and ample outdoor seating.

5 Star - Amazing!

We had a wonderful time during our 6 night stay! Just a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach and a short walk to restaurants made our stay so convenient! Leslie is a fantastic host who is very responsive! The beds were super comfy and the pool was perfect! The kitchen has everything you could need and the shed out back has everything you could need for the beach and the pool! Loved it!

Amazing Beach House

Our family had a wonderful time at Leslie and Joe's beach house! Our family especially enjoyed the pool and backyard space. We had 6 people but the home could easily accommodate 8. The photos and description matched perfectly. We really appreciated all of the extras things the home included such as towels, pool floats and beach equipment. While this house isn't on the beach it is close and we were able to walk there in about 12 mins. This wasn't an issue for us because we asked Leslie about the location prior to booking. The beach is about a 2 minute car ride away and we easily found free parking and plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The house was extremely clean and truly felt like a home away from home. Leslie and Joe really thought about everything and there wasn't a single thing that we needed that the home didn't provide. For our family, this home was a 10 out of 10. Leslie was super quick to communicate as well if we had an issue or question. We would recommend this home to our family and friends and we are already planning our next stay. Thank you Leslie and Joe for a phenomenal vacation!

Baby Shower Fun!

Leslie & Joe are wonderful! Arrivalā€¦departure super easy. House is beautiful! They have a local artist designing/paintings around the house and itā€™s very beachy and fun! Beds are great!! For me - thats always a deal breaker. And LOVED the clean-crisp sheets! Great houseā€¦ great locationā€¦ great owners!

Excellent New Year's!

Our family stayed here for the week of New Year's. It was perfect! It is close to the beach, in a quiet neighborhood, and we loved hanging out in the backyard. The home looks exactly like the pictures; so cute and beachy! The host was very good with communication. We will definitely be back!

Everything was fantastic. We loved that we were able to bring our 2 pups and feel very secure with the awesome fully fenced in yard. The house was clean and cozy, and the backyard with pool and hot tub was the perfect place to relax. We will definitely be staying here anytime we come back to Jax!

Beautiful home!

We were displaced from our original booking due to the hurricane and we booked this home the night before. (One of the few that allowed that) it was lovely and fit all our needs. Although we took most of everything we needed they had wonderful extras around the home that you donā€™t normally see. Enough towels for an army! Lots of kitchen supplies as well. Beautiful backyard, pool hot tub and fire pit! Amazing host that touched base with you just enough to make sure you had what you needed. Loved our stay!

Family Trip

Our family had a wonderful stay and we would recommend this house to anyone. It is even cuter than the photos show. The house was very clean and the beds and furniture were comfortable and perfect for our family of 6. The pool, hot tub and backyard were great for hanging out in with plenty of seating and a large, covered porch for when it rained. The owners provide lots of great pool and beach floats, boogie boards, and even beach toys for children. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was well furnished for guests. I highly recommend this house.

Family time

Our granddaughter was graduating nursing school at Jacksonville University and we thought to make it a little family get away and this home could not have been better. Best Rental - Even Better in Person

I don't even know where to start, as this was the best rental we've ever stayed in. Leslie is a wonderful communicator and an excellent host. Their house was perfect for our family and is filled with beautiful beach decorations and paintings. All of the necessities were provided and the backyard Oasis is a getaway of its own. We can't wait to return!

Ok so Leslie was very easy to work with. There were some hiccups during our stay but she tried to fix them. The property is not in walking distance to the beach, plan on driving or taking a bike. The neighborhood is quiet. Things are close but not enough to walk, we drove our car or rode our bikes. The bikes at the property are horrible plan on bringing your own. They are very old and rusted. The pool was great, unfortunately the hot tub remote broke but we just texted Leslie and she would turn it on. I did not like that the coldest you can set the house to is 72 degrees it wonā€™t get any colder than that, she has it locked. There were a lot of beach towels and the chairs were in good condition. There was a lot of mayonnaise stuff like that that people left which I didnā€™t like because it took up space in the fridge, I donā€™t want to use random open food other people used but thatā€™s just me. The house was very clean and very cute but we did find a few dead roaches but they said the bad weather was to blame. It was a nice stay but I donā€™t think we would come back to this property again.

Excellent place to stay

The house looks just like the pictures. Leslie was so easy to deal with and quick to respond with any questions I had. There was plenty of room for a family of seven and we didn't feel like we were over crowded. There is plenty of room in the kitchen for numerous people to be in there at the same time. The kids loved swimming in the pool everyday and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. The house was stocked with everything you would need. All you need to bring is your clothes and toothbrush. There were PLENTY of beach towels and bath towels, so future tenants do not need to bring any towels. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. There were so many things to do close to the house and only a few blocks from the beach. There were a lot of beach toys and games. If I'm ever in the area again I would definitely stay at this house again. We had a fantastic time!

The pictures do not do this property justice. This house is immaculant and beautifully decorated. All the little extras provided by the host went above and beyond. From multitude of towels to extra throw blankets to cuddle on the couch. We were so imppressed. My son is stationed at NAS JAx so we will most definately be back

Best Vacay Ever

Leslie, Joe, and their team and home are nothing short of incredible. From the hot tub to the mattresses, this place is perfect. It is even better than the pictures. There is a huge king sized bed and walk-in closet in the master suite, 5 bikes, probably 20 beach towels (so donā€™t worry about bringing any!), an ENTIRE WAGON full of beach chairs, tons of useful food/ingredients in the pantry, excellent laundry room with plenty of supplies, firewood for the fire pit outside, floaties, literally everything anyone could need. My group was blown away by this place throughout our entire stay. We had an 18 year old with us and didnā€™t bring a high chair, and Leslie and Joe went above and beyond and brought us one. Absolutely, unbelievable kind and generous people. One thing to note: it is about a 20 minute walk to the beach if you use the crosswalk on 9th ave to walk across. Since we had the 18 month old, we drove most of the time and found free parking super easily and super close to the water except for on Saturday, when the beach was crowded. We also rode the bikes several times when someone stayed home with the baby. So the walk was a little tough when carrying all of our gear, but driving was easy peasy and the bikes were lots of fun!! Jax Beach is such a cute place and this house made it even sweeter. Make sure to look at the to go menus in a drawer in the kitchen!! Mellow mushroom pizza, rainbow sushi, and Cup of Job coffee were our favorite places. We just got home, and weā€™re missing LJā€™s beach house and Jax Beach already. I hope everyone has the experience we had. So much love!
