It's a very beautiful, clean, classic log cabin, just what I wanted when I decided to take a week off in White Mountains to enjoy myself and glorious foliage.
The cabin has a complete kitchen with nearly all of the tools you need to cook good meals(no microwave oven). When we were there, my mother cooked for us everyday except one night.
The cabin has two decent size bedrooms and main bathroom on the first floor. With a gas heater, you feel pretty warm and comfortable in cold autumn nights.
On the loft you has another bathroom and half open room with two single beds. But we never use them since we were just two person.
The cabin is on the top of a small mountain. It's very close to Jackson center and in 10 minutes you can arrive Grant's Supermarket, a decent local store. With twenty five minutes driving you can go to Walmart supercenter and shaw's and outlet in North Conway(these three are very close to each other).
I think this log cabin really is a decent-size house with all of these appliances in good working order.
Only main appliances missed are laundry appliances. So if you plan to stay longer than one week, that will be a problem.
Ed always answered my message quickly. So I got all my problems answered before I arrived his cabin. Thanks Ed.
According to Ed's recommendation, we hiked Mount Willard, which had amazing fall foliage view. And We Hiked Artist's Bluff and bald Mountain loop, which was great too. And Pine Mountains was another spectacular spot for foliage.
We ride Cog train to the summit of the Mount Washington, enjoying it.
And we ride Conway Scenic Notch Train and got blasted by some amazing views too.
All in all, we enjoyed our vacations in White Mountains with perfect stay in Heather & Ed Harvey's log Cabin. We got perfect time, perfect cabin. Thanks so much, Heather & Ed Harvey.
