I booked this inn very last minute, so when I arrived everyone was fairly settled, it seemed I was the last to check in (around 7:30pm), my room was lovely and included a jacuzzi tub, I couldn’t get the jacuzzi to work but I think that was me not reading the instructions properly perhaps. I was offered a warm apple cider on arrival (delicious).
It was easy to pull in to and parking was ample.
The only thing I will say is that I had questions, usual stuff about the restaurant, spa, property, and the staff looked at me as if I was a bit strange for asking questions or wanting to explore the different areas of the property? I’m not sure if people usually just stay in their rooms there perhaps.
I wanted to get a massage but the spa doesn’t do walk-ins, appointment only but they didn’t have anyone available to make an appointment.
The restaurant was closed the next morning when I attempted to go for breakfast.
And the fire wasn’t lit in reception room at the front of the building (it was definitely cold enough and that is shown in the photos so I felt it was a little bit of false advertising).
I would give this place 4/5, and I would come back but I’d probably plan ahead to make sure I could utilize all of their facilities.
