"I spent the weekend here solo and loved how big the space is a nicely decorated. The home is close to the supermarket and only an hour to Tahoe Peak. There are also many trails within 10-15mins. It was very quiet and I especially love it feels like a home. This place gives you enough firewood for your stay, has nice bathrooms and a hot tub. It also has a laundry which is nice so you get home with a clean bathroom. The host is very responsive as well. Will definitely come back!"

"Sugar pine challet is in the perfect location for easy ski trips to Bear Valley, Big trees, and hiking. There is an enchanting fire circle area with bistro lights. The general store is super close for anything you may have forgotten. The fenced yard is perfect for allowing your fur baby some freedom to run out energy. The size is perfect for 6 people, and clean and comfortable!! We enjoyed our stay so much I'm already checking my calendar for when we can go back!"

"The host was great and the location was good, with a moderate walk on the side of the road to the chairlifts. Unfortunately the room was the equivalent of a dated motel room with the faint but distinct smell of a smoker’s old car. It was far overpriced for the quality. "

The interior was thoughtfully designed, with charming little details that created a wonderful atmosphere. The house was perfect for four people — clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed.The location was excellent — close to all the main spots, shops, and cafes. Just a 5-minute walk to a lovely coffee shop that opens at 7 a.m.Our friends from Colorado and New York...
