A cabin with all the comforts of home! Everything you need, just come on up!

Nice comfy cozy cabin in the Sierra's close to skiing, located in the Blue Lake Springs area in Arnold, CA. Whether you want winter fun, or a fun time during the warmer months, the cabin is the place for you to call home during your stay up in the mountains. The cabin is close to the small town of Murphy's which has excellent wine tasting rooms, music, great restaurants and shopping for all ages. It is also located just a mile from the Big Trees State Park which has wonderful hiking trails in amongst the beautiful redwoods. Just about 25 minutes up the mountain from the cabin is the ski area of Bear Valley. In Arnold you can rent skis, kayaks, snow boards, and more for all kinds of outdoor fun. In and around the cabin are many lakes and areas to picnic with the whole family or with your friends. Blue Lake Springs offers to our guests the use of their pool which opens seasonally at the end of May, swimming in their lake as well as tennis courts, and a very nice restaurant.

What makes this cabin unique
we love sitting out on the large deck during the warmer months, and in the winter I love just laying around in front of the fire and relaxing. There is so much to do in and around the area. So close for skiing, Big Trees State Park, Murphy's wine tasting rooms, pool, lakes, hiking, shopping and good restaurants. You'll have a great time any time of year. Wifi, cable tv for those stay in when it snows days.

Great place! Cozy and comfy, our kids loved it. Everything went smoothly, fun place for our whole family to hang out.Access to the local Blue Lake (through the HOA) was also a plus, we were able to spend a lot of time at the water with no crowds!Just a heads up for parents - the 2 bedrooms are in separate floors, if that makes a difference to you.

The host was responsive, but I had to ask for the key code. A binder of information was tucked under the coffee table and departure day instructions were taped to the side of the refrigerator. Neither were in obvious places and could use updating for consistency purposes The cabin was very clean and that was appreciated.

Beautiful Cabin in Arnold

Everything was perfection! The only suggestion I would make is to supply one pot of coffee since most people would stop at the market on the way up and not know the kind of coffee maker provided. We left the coffee and filters for the next guest

Quick Getaway

My husband and I needed a last minute one-night stay in Arnold and were grateful that we could rent this cabin. Overall our stay was good. The cabin had plenty of room for us and was clean. We really enjoyed the deck in the evening and in the morning. The entry instructions were confusing and we were thankful we didn't arrive at night. Things were also made harder as our cell phones don't work there without wifi. But the property manager was very quick to respond and we realized we were using the wrong key box, since there were 2 and we had no idea. There's definitely some delayed maintenance with the cabin.

Great Cabin in Arnold!

Property was clean and check in was easy! Owner was super responsive and easy to work with. Only con is that the whole area (house and town) I had zero cell service. I have AT&T provider and was happy that I screenshotted instructions prior to getting up to house. WiFi worked great once and we didn’t need our phones once we got they lay of the land.

House was quiet and clean. Pillows were pretty flat but overall the house Worked well for a family of 4. Driveway was a bit of doozy- you have to back out uphill at an angle. But great location by Big Trees Park and nice to eat on the patio after a long day. Laundry facilities and a family room

OFF TO A DISAPPOINTING START

When we arrived at check-in time at 4:00, the house had not been cleaned since the last guests a week earlier. The host arranged for someone to clean at 6:00 so it was after 7:00 when we moved in. As a result, we had to kill 3 hours and pay to dine out rather than eat what we brought for dinner. The host did refund the cleaning fee and some out-of-expenses we incurred. We recommended a couple of things that need attention: i.e. clean the oven and under the kitchen sink.

Beautiful Cabin

This cabin was beautiful. Wow. So cozy, homey and charming. Clean. Loved all the windows!! Such beautiful views. Easy check in and check out. Property owner was very responsive. Only hard thing is the stairs if you have littles. Thanks and we’ll hopefully be back again!
