The hotel does a very nice view from the room, we did not have a full balcony, but just a small terrace. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would say that was the best part of our stay. The room is a lot smaller than pictured. I read some other reviews, commenting on the smell coming from the pipes of the bathroom and that was true. Not sure what it was but the bathroom does not smell great but the room and the bathroom were very clean. great location with everything all around.

Overall the stay was wonderful. Lots of shopping and dining experience on the Galata Hill which was very reasonably priced and a huge variety of different shops. It is approx 30 mins walk to Taksim square and Egyptian market. Grand bazaar is roughly a 40 mins walk from hotel where you walk across the Galata bridge and you see the locals all set-up for fishing and fresh cooked fish dining experience. Along the way there was lots of pit stops you can make. It is a stones throw from Galata Tower. The hotel was very clean, rooms were spacious with all working amenities, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

L hotel è a 50 metri dalla torre di Galata per cui nei dintorni c'è tutto quello di cui un turista ha bisogno.A circa 300 metri ci sono sia la metro M2 che la la funicolare per andare attraverso il ponte di Galata nel cuore di Istanbul.Da non perdere anche la zona dei ristorantini a Karakoy

Stylish place in Galata
Wonderful location in Galata. Only few minute walk from the Metro (Sishane). Very beautiful and comfortable rooms. Lovely terrace on the roof. The only thing I could say that I missed was a lobby, a place to reunite, but seriously not a big deal. The place is lovely. I highly recommend.

Great stay, very clean, accommodating staff
We had a great time in instanbul for the first time. This hotel is in a very fun and busy tourist area near the galata tower and there's great shopping and food that surrounds it. Also a close walk to a large open air mall as well. We had excellent help from the staff when our connecting flight from Paris was unexpectedly cancelled. The staff was able to accommodate needing to change our reservation which I am very thankful for as I know this could have easily been an issue at many hotels. The room was very clean and comfortable, we were on the less busy side of the hotel which helped keep the noise down at night. The area is a late night area for many young people. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel! It is one of the smaller hotels in the area but the staff and cleanliness of this one along with a comfortable bed made our two night stay excellent. Thanks! We were visiting Türkiye for the first time and stayed in Istanbul a couple nights to kick off our honeymoon. Very glad we picked this hotel!

5 night stay- Galata Istanbul
Probably the best stay in Galata Istanbul, overlooking the busy street of Galata. Most of the things are a short walk away and the service was great!

Instanbul made easy.
The hotel is well placed , 50 mètres from the Galata Tower. The neighborhood has many restaurants and bars and the local people are friendly and helpful. The public transport is excellent. We enjoyed the visit.

Die Lage des Hotels war wirklich sehr gut! Der Galata Turm liegt direkt vor den Füßen und nach ein paar Gehminuten ist man direkt am Taksim und kann Istiklal Caddesi durchlaufen. Wir sind auch zum Eminönü gelaufen und sogar auch bis zum Fatih - also man braucht wirklich nicht unbedingt ein Taxi oder weiteres. Zu Fuß erreicht man auch Bootsfahrten Richtung Kadiköy, Üsküdar etc. Da es natürlich in einem Touristen Gebiet liegt, war es gut laut, vor allem auch nachts.. das muss man bedenken. Die Zimmer sind alle unterschiedlich, entweder mit Ausblick auf den Galata Turm oder gar kein Ausblick. Da muss man beim buchen einfach darauf schauen. Das Zimmer ist im französischen Stil eingerichtet und total süß. Die Schränke haben wir leider nicht benutzt, da diese zu stark gerochen haben, ich würde mal sagen eine Mischung aus Holz und alt. Das Bad ist okey aber man kann ein paar Renovierungsarbeiten machen. Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir trotzdem zufrieden, wir waren hauptsächlich sowieso nur zum schlafen da und dafür war es wirklich gut! Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit! Wir haben uns total willkommen gefühlt und vor allem auch sicher! Ich würde immer wieder dorthin kommen.

Nice looking rooms where nothing works
The location very good and the rooms look very nice. However, they seem to be staged only to look nice, and nothing actually works. In our room we had a fridge, TV and record player and none of them worked. So if you prefer nice visuals over functionality, everything is OK.

Perfect for a city break
Amazing location - comfortable bed, can be a little noisy outside as it’s on a busy street until around midnight but no issues after that. Reception team were super helpful getting us a taxi to the airport and room was just what we needed for Istanbul. Walkable to all the main sights and lots of places to eat nearby. The bathroom was amazing and water pressure 10/10. Thanks so much

Probably, my worst experience in Istanbul. The gave me a small room apologizing it was their last room. They offered me to cancel, but it was not an option after bringing all my luggage all the way there. The area is nice, right next to Galata tower, but very noisy. The room itself was in front of the elevator so I could hear every guest going up and down. The room was not very clean, had strange smell and when I opened the fridge, the door fell. The girl from the reception explained that they didn’t have a chance to fix it. My recommendation is not to choose this hotel for your vacation, but to finish on positive note, the staff was nice and spoke English.

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and it was amazing! Direct views to the Galata Tower and there was access to a rooftop terrace which was beautiful. The staff was also the sweetest and accommodated with any needs. Hasan was the best and helped us out a lot! Would definitely return to this hotel when visiting again.

This hotel has direct views of Galata Tower from the balcony. It's very loud all day and the rooms have poor soundproofing, but it's what you would expect from an older building in such a vibrant neighborhood. It's worth upgrading to a balcony room, since you can look out over the busy street and enjoy commotion (and probably catch at least one marriage proposal!) The rooms themselves are not super luxury, but are nice enough and the basics all worked fine. The staff was also very earnest and responsive, despite occasional language barrier issues. I would avoid this hotel if comfort is the most important thing to you. Otherwise, it's a very good home base for exploring the city.
