Accommodation and area is not good
I arrived to find my taxi pick up to be 45 mins late and the taxi man attempted to charge me double and this was arranged by Ertan but in end didn't have to pay double but was very stressful. On arriving the accommodation looked okay but has days passed the place was not what I saw as advertised. There was continual rubbish outside apartment, women and children sat on steps on street and felt very much I was being watched. There was a smell in the kitchen from the outside which didn't go away (I was in basement apartment and this wasn't fully explained to me) dirty spare sheets, and dirty sofa, continual buzzing noise in kitchen and the outside patio area the furniture is old and its quite noisy so didn't sit outside.
I was only staying 5 nights and didn't think I would be able to swap or get a refund during stay as it was such a short stay and it's not like its a hotel and Ertan didn't explain this to me that this was possible.
He didn't write once to ask if everything was ok.
I wrote to Ertan after me trip and showed him photographic proof of how bad apartment and asked for a refund and he accused me of not being honest and telling him sooner and refused any refund and now hasn't even looked at the message that I replied to him on whatsapp. This apartment isn't in a good place in Fatih and is not like the pictures and the outside is very dirty.
Fatih is a place with more Syrian refugees
I complained to Ertan about this and he said they do collect rubbish but a lot is still left floating about on the street. I do not understand why this property has such good reviews and the are misleading. I asked Ertan who can I complain to officially and he didn't respond with a name and said I should just deal with him. I genuinely don't feel he cares that I had a really bad experience at the accommodation and that is the saddest part about it all and felt it really ruined my trip and this accommodation cost a lot of money.
I then felt threatened as he said I can leave a review and he will leave one about me and the public can decide, like its a competition!! Its not a competition, what I write is the truth and if you have any sense you will not book at this accommodation and I am really disappointed with Ertan as a person and the organisation simply do not care.
I also have left something valuable in property so Ertan I assume you will read this as you have not looked at my Whatsapp message, so can item be returned, did request this
