"Special thanks should go Valentino, always on hand with a great attitude. The hotel could do with some tidying up here and there. But I guess money is tight in the hospitality industry right now. "

"Lovely stay, very convenient location, close to everything. Staff was nice, great breakfast (amazing view btw!). It may be considered an "old" hotel but it's very well kept and charming. Lots of TV channels, although it wasn't my main priority when booking, but might be interesting for someone else. Won't hesitate to book them again on my next stay."

"The only Issue we had was the lack of ales at the bar. Come Saturday evening, there was no real ale available at the hotel bar. This prevented us from eating at the hotel in the evenings. "

"As a high end hotel you should experience top rate hotel. Being the start of the season you would expect the hotel to be in prime condition as it’s not cheap. The staff are lovely ask and they will do their best to help. But our room smelt of smoke (put air con on 15 minutes later clear, the room/suite could do with upgrading. But my soppy gripe why have painting done by someone that can’t cut in. It looks cheap and not professional. This is evident in many areas. The front of the hotel needs a...

"The whole building was unique. unusual but very comfortable. We could have done with another chair in the Room.....but other than that fine. 'Mine host ' was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of banter."

"The hotel was comfort and good size for family, but it was new paint, my wife not feeling too well, staffs are very friendly and helpful, bar and breakfast was very good, had a nice local beer, good and quiet location for family break, well recommended "

"The room was in need of some love as far as decoration goes. The main lampshade was a large 'white' feather arrangement which looked filthy, had cobweb coming off it.The bed was fairly comfortable & bedding was clean. The bathroom was fairly clean although the area between the shower & basin looked dirty. The TV didn't have reception. Unable to rate staff as we saw no-one, entering & leaving via key safe."

"Bit noisy outside during the night but we didn’t realise the window was ajar, which probably didn’t help! Room was lovely. Great views. Bed very comfortable "

"One of my favourite hotels to stay in. Very homely, the beds are incredibly comfy and the whole hotel is beautifully decorated and I love how quirky it is. Love the games/bar area and self service kitchen. The owners always friendly and accommodating. Look forward to staying again."

"Nice room, felt safe and cozy with everything I needed to hand. The breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced - service was slightly chaotic but I found it endearing. Just leave plenty of time. Great location as an easy walk to the sea front and shops etc. Would def stay again. "
