"We had such a lovely time in Margate - huge part of this experience is down to super comfortable hotel suite with magnificent views on the beach and the sea . The suite was super clean and equipped with everything we needed for this short stay - it was such a lovely experience that I wanted to stay longer by a day or so . Unfortunately this highly sought after hotel was fully booked. It is a gem so I am not surprised … thank you to hotel staff and management for such a lovely experience . Joanna"

"Probably the nicest room we have stayed in despite spending 2 or 3 times more per night on other trips. Lovely spacious room in period property with exposed beams, brickwork and proper 4 poster bed. The quality of the renovation, and in particular the ornate marble/granite work in the bathroom, was exceptional. Add in a warm freindly welcome and it rates in the top handful of all time great stays."

"Reception was not manned with a sign to proceed to the bar upstairs which was also empty. Someone came who said he would get someone but he returned 10 min later and had to chase again. His colleague arrived 5 min later. He showed us to a 3rd floor room which was still being cleaned. The room was very hot due to the weather and the air conditioning unit on the wall did not work. None of the windows opened and one was actually sealed shut. We were shown a room on the 1st floor. Again air...
