"Excellent location, on the beach and busy area with lots of restaurant and bar options. Best bed we have experienced, super plush. Easy access to Sullivans Island, historic Charleston and Mt. Pleasant among other key SC areas. Great for young families or a quick get away. Opportunities are not enough staff to maintain the luxurious status it portrays. Daily housekeeping was not provided although I’m sure we could have addressed however we only had a two day stay. It’s just a preference for us...

"The only thing that was good was the location. The hotel itself was a dump. Parking was costly and terrible. Based on the photos you would not know the place was little more than a dive!"

"I asked for a handicap accessible room & was told they didn’t have any. There weren’t any grab bars around the tub & nothing on the tub floor to keep you from falling. I was very disappointed & nervous that I would fall or my traveling companion which is 85 years old. She opted to just wipe off than take a chance with falling!"

"OMGosh!!! What a great surprise this place was. Right in the center of the action and a short drive to Patriots Point, the Old Village in Mount Pleasant and close enough for an affordable Uber to Charleston. So many restaurants were within walking distance and we could hear all the live music while we were swimming in the pool. This was a great place for our family (kids 10 and 13) because the area was full of college kids and young adults (who were all very respectful) but the hotel itself...

"If you get a room at Sweetgrass Inn with a water view, be prepared to hear children screaming in the pool below all day long. They are not just screams of delight - there are lots of screams of distress. The service and food at the Oystercatcher in the hotel were just mediocre- too bad they don’t raise the quality there. Overall we had fun but there is a lot of room for improvement."
