"A very lovely place for a mini break Ticks all the boxes"

"Friendly greeting from the staff, an exceptional room soundproofed so you'd have no idea there was a bar below. Exceptionally presented rooms with handy toiletries and a very decent breakfast. We were very impressed and will book again on our next visit"

"The stay was relaxed and comfortable with a flexible approach to checking in which was appreciated. Rooms are cosy, and the hotel was quiet and perfect for sleeping in. "

"Room was clean and comfortable, food was lovely, the staff were brilliant and helpful. The only problem was the remote control for the tv didn't work and staff didn't seem to know how to fix it. While it's certainly not the most important thing we all know 99% of hotels have got TV's in them, it's standard these days so the staff should be trained in how to work or set up the remotes and there should always be spares. There should be a set of instructions near the reception or even in the rooms...

"Really enjoyed my stay here, the owners are very friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. If I was to really, really 'nitpick' the WiFi signal was a little weak and I ended up reverting back to my mobile data, but everything else was brilliant and I'll definitely be booking here again if and when the opportunity arises. Have already recommended to several colleagues."

"Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent shower, superb service where nothing was too much trouble. good menu choice for evening meals - the lasagna was absolutely excellent with a great side salad and the best chips I've had for ages. The draught beer was great and not over priced .... all in all, to be recommended!"
