"Voilà un gîte magnifique. J’ai eu l’occasion de m’y arrêter pour une nuit lors d’une étape sur mon voyage mais il vraiment parfait pour passer un séjour plus long. Parfaitement rénové avec goût et modernité je m’y vois bien y passer un plus long séjour. Je n’ai hélas pas eu une belle météo et le brouillard à quelque peu troublé la visibilité mais les environs semblent aussi très agréable. "Hosts were very welcoming but also kept out of our way. The house and pool are beautiful and the location peaceful. The kitchen was small but very well equipped. Our only comment was that the bedrooms were downstairs from the main living space and you had to go outside and round to get to them. This was fine for our family but may not suit with younger children. The house is very remote and a car is essential to get anywhere."

The village with its castle is very run down with a large derelict hospital, numerous closed hotels and empty shops, but still worth a visit as a stop over."

"A wonderful building and room accessed by a stone spiral staircase. Ticked all the boxes for a fabulous overnight stop over. The owners were very attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was ideal before a days travelling and the homemade Jam was delicious."
