"This was a fantastic location - our kids loved the books scattered about and Agnes was helpful and communicative throughout our stay. Great location for exploring throughout Kerry. We took advantage of the meal offer - it was a bit expensive but the portions were large and it was a nice home cooked meal when we arrived after a long day, so it was a good family experience. "

"This is an almost 300 year old home that feels like a grandmother’s hug. It’s rather out of the way, so make sure you check the map and driving times, but if you’re okay with the location, you should definitely stay here. The home has everything you’ll need, the beds are comfortable, there is plenty of hot water and wonderful water pressure in the shower, and the views from the windows are stunning. "A family friendly old farmhouse which suited our 8 family members, aged from 3 to quite a bit older. Beautifully secluded with plenty of ground around the house and acres of exploring along the lake shore. We were there at the end of March and the weather was cool and blustery, though we didn't have much rain. Only a 5 minute drive to the lovely beach at Ballyhiernan Bay.
