"Our stay in Ballindooley Castle was fabulous, exciting, historical and educational. Highly recommend the castle stay. Barry, our host, was very communicative and available. The castle has all the amenities needed and plenty of space and we enjoyed exploring every room and its history. Cozy and would stay there again. "

"The location was alright. The parking was less than desirable. We had to park our car in a pay lot that was a 15 min walk away. The neighborhood is also next to a school, so there is morning and afternoon noise from the kids walking to and from. Otherwise, it was clean and comfortable and the host was friendly. "

"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

Plenty of space to fit our whole family and able to save some money with the kitchen and laundry facility on property."
