Other Things to Note

☆ Pool Heater/Cleaner
The pool requires a lot of natural gas to heat, so using this will incur a daily fee of $125 (plus tax). This will be billed prior to your arrival if you request it. Please note: our pool cleaner comes only on Monday and Thursday mornings. He will access the property through the side gate and should not disturb you during your stay.

☆ Desert living:
This home, like many in Indio, is located in the desert where sand is common and can be carried by the wind. On windy days, the pool may catch some sand. Our pool cleaners always do their best to remove it, but in some cases, a small amount may remain in the pool.

☆ Pet-Friendly Stays
We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a fee of $150 per stay. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning required for pet hair. If any waste beyond hair (such as urine or feces) is found, an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, and dogs should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may disturb neighbors. Please note: Dogs are not allowed in the pool. Please let us know if you are traveling with a dog

☆ Gated Neighborhood
There is a guard gate to access the gated neighborhood where our home is located. We will need to collect all guests names and license plate numbers for easy access into and out of the community. Max of 3 cars.

Guests have private, exclusive access to the entire home—including the pool, spa, backyard, and all indoor spaces.

☆ Location: Often referred to as the `City of Festivals,` Indio is a vibrant city located in the Coachella Valley of Southern California`s Desert Region. This city is known for its annual festivals, particularly the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Festival, both of which are held at the nearby Empire Polo Club, our home is just 1.4 miles away, with the perfect location for festival goers.

☆ Neighborhood: Coachella Casa is located within the Indian Palms Country Club, a gated community known for its peaceful surroundings and scenic desert charm. While the community features amenities such as a 27-hole golf course, pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and a fitness center, please note that these amenities are not accessible to guests of this property.

The surrounding area of Indio is rich in culture and history, with local attractions such as the Coachella Valley History Museum, Indio Performing Arts Center, and Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, which offers concerts, dining, and gaming. For outdoor adventures, Joshua Tree National Park is about an hour’s drive away and offers stunning desert landscapes, hiking, and rock climbing.

☆ Getting Around
A car is recommended for getting around Indio and the surrounding Coachella Valley. Most attractions, restaurants, and shops are just a short drive away. Ample parking is available at the home.

Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are also readily available and a great option for attending festivals or exploring nearby cities like La Quinta and Palm Desert without worrying about parking. Palm Springs International Airport is about 30 minutes away by car, making arrival and departure easy and convenient.

Guest Cleaning Disclosure (California Requirement)
We employ professional cleaners who fully service the home before and after every stay. They handle all linens, bathrooms, surfaces, and full disinfection.
We kindly ask our guests to complete the following simple tasks at checkout:
• Trash: Bag and take out all household trash.
• Dishes: Load and run the dishwasher.
• Personal Items: Remove all personal belongings.
• Security: Ensure all doors and windows are locked before departure.

House Rules
• Our home is located in a gated community. To ensure smooth entry, we’ll need the names of all guests and your vehicle’s license plate to register with security. Only three vehicles allowed, street parking is not permitted.
• Primary renter must be 21+, sign a rental agreement, and provide valid photo ID. The registered guest must remain on-site for the entire stay. Subleasing is prohibited.
• No parties or events. Loud music, rambunctious gatherings, or excessive cars disturbing neighbors are strictly prohibited. Per city permitting maximum day time occupancy is 10.
• No sticking tape on walls or pictures, and no confetti is allowed.
• Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM. Excessive noise or disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund.
• Smoking or vaping is not allowed indoors, including cigarettes, marijuana, or e-cigarettes. Any cleaning or damage costs will be charged to the primary guest.
• Pets must be on leashes in unenclosed areas. No pets allowed in pool. Please clean up after your pets and be mindful of barking to avoid neighbor complaints. Max 1 dog
• Children under 18 must be supervised at all times when using the pool.
• BBQ must be operated by responsible adults only.
• Follow all local, county, and state laws and short-term rental regulations, including all rules on the City`s `Good Neighbor Brochure`, provided prior to checkin. Noncompliance may result in eviction by city without refund.
• Late checkout may result in a fee of up to $200 unless approved in advance.
• Fines may apply for violations of house rules or city ordinances, including Code Enforcement penalties.
