"Throughly enjoyed staying at the Cranberry Cottage. It has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The location is perfect and the scenery is beautiful. If you bring your fur baby with you there’s lots of room for them to roam. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if we ever went back to that area. "Maude’s Place location is fantastic. The house has a porch with an incredible view of the hills and sandy bay. Inside the house the beds are comfortable, a fan is in every bedroom, the kitchen is well equipped for6 people and they had plenty of towels. We will definitely return for another vacation!"

"The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. "We had an absolutely wonderful time at this cottage. I would come back in a heartbeat. With a full kitchen we were able to make dinner and plan meals for our day trips. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of blankets for the chillier nights. The grounds were beautiful with lots of space for the kids to play. The back porch was a peaceful place to have a cup of coffee in the morning. I don’t have any negative comments, nothing could have been better. It was absolutely perfect. "

"We originally booked the cottage to do some hiking, however trails in NS were closed due to risk of wildfires, understandable. We still had an awesome time, drove the Cabot trail, went to the beach, explored the area. We will be back and will definitely stay here again. The cottage was perfect. The kitchen had all necessary tools, everything was clean, the space was cozy. "
