"The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. "We were to be in the Green Chalet (the word chalet is quite misleading). Informed host we would be arriving late. Chalet could only be identified by the roof colour, which in the dark is not visible. A sign on the cabin would have been helpful. The breakfast (an additional charge) was watery scrambled eggs, cold pancakes, dry bread, frozen raspberries. The manager was to be in at 8:00, finally showed up at 8:25. The other staff were unable to assist with check-in. As a result, we were unable to...

"Very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was exactly as promised and was comfortable and well appointed. Particularly enjoyed the screened porch and the visit each morning from the resident cat. The location is rather remote so one must come prepared with food etc but it is lovely and quiet and a great place to get away from it all. Pam and Steve "

"This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 "
