An architectural retreat on Lake Inari, where Lapland is mystical and the Northern Lights shine
Luna – the architectural gem of Inai Haven
On the mystical shores of Lake Inari stands Luna, an architectural masterpiece that blends modern design with the timeless tranquility of Lapland. With its expansive glass facades, the building opens up to the infinite expanse of the sky—to the midnight sun in summer and to the dancing Northern Lights in winter.
Inside, clean lines blend with warm, natural materials that create a sense of coziness while reflecting the Nordic aesthetic. Each room has been designed to draw the eye outward: toward the water, the sky, and the vast landscape, which offers a new spectacle in every season.
Luna is more than a retreat—it is an invitation to lose yourself in the power of nature, find peace in the silence, and recharge in the beauty of the North.
Inai Haven is located between Inari and Saariselkä—two of the most famous destinations in Finnish Lapland. Inari is considered the cultural heart of the Sámi people, rich in stories, traditions, and the unique landscape surrounding Lake Inari. Saariselkä, on the other hand, is a paradise for outdoor activities: in winter with skiing, snowshoeing, and husky tours; in summer with endless hiking trails through the tundra and national parks.
The region combines mystique and vastness: quiet forests, glistening lakes, gentle fells, and a sky filled with the Northern Lights on clear nights.
The most convenient way to get there is via Ivalo Airport, which is only about a 30-minute drive away. From there, Inai Haven is easily accessible by rental car or shuttle. You can also reach Lapland comfortably by night train or bus from Helsinki.
