Overpriced in July ā Clean Towels, But Not Much Else
We stayed here in June for ā¬200 for two nights, and for that price, it was acceptable. The room was clean, and the white towels and linens were fresh and neat. If youāre just looking for a clean place to sleep, it does the job.
But we originally wanted to stay in July, and the price then jumps to ā¬1900 for three nights ā which is absolutely insane for what you actually get.
Hereās what to expect (or not expect) at that price:
No linen change during a 2-night stay ā youāre using the same sheets from check-in to check-out.
Amenities are neglected: the barbecue area is dirty, and outside furniture like tables, chairs, and cups are broken and gathering dust. If you drink American coffee, you're given a plastic cup and a stir stick ā but no spoon to scoop the grounds.
The toaster looks like it hasnāt been cleaned in centuries.
And then thereās the mini-bar situation:
ā¬1 for a 500ml bottle of water not even cold
ā¬4 for a mini tube of off-brand chips passed off as āPringlesā ā not the real thing, and definitely not full-sized.
Even being near the racetrack doesnāt justify this kind of pricing. At nearly ā¬700 per night, youāre not getting anything beyond basic cleanliness ā and even that stops short of decent service.
Final verdict: The towels may be clean, but the experience isnāt worth the price tag. At these rates, you can ā and should ā find somewhere far better.
