"nice and friendly staff, room was spotless had a great stay"

"Great location and the staff were friendly. Room was dated but clean. The only issue was the wifi...didnt work."

"I loved everything about the property except for the rooms with the slot. That business took front and over the hotel guests staying at the property. It was not mentioned by Expedia for the booking and I was not impressed with that at all. Will be looking closer at all bookings especially with Expedia."

"Nice place!"

"Great place to visit"

"I have stayed at the Blackforest cabins four times now and every time we have a very clean positive experience. There has been great communication and easy instructions for checking in and checking out. I wish they had deals for reoccurring customers because it is pretty expensive to stay even for one night."

"The house is beautiful, good location a short walk to town and waterfront. Dining room was beautiful, sunny, comfortable with excellent breakfast provided"

"Definitely not the best stay I’ve had at any motel/hotel. The property was pretty run down and the room itself was really dusty. There was this door mat that was not held down by anything like a carpet runner and slid around whenever walked on. I rolled it up and tossed it aside because it was dangerous. The heat was difficult to turn up, you had to press really hard and like wiggle your finger around, but to turn it down it was easy. The plug situation was weird. Not really close to the bed but...

"This was such a fun place to stay! I would have called it glamping, but it’s a step above that. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom so nice, the kitchen was functional and so cute (if you need a microwave there isn’t one, but we ended up just fine without). Loved the hot tub and the views were nice. Saw a grey seal each evening, along with a sweet doe meandering through. Lots of hummingbirds. Good location and we just really enjoyed our time. We stayed 4 nights and had time to enjoy so many...

"We had the most relaxing time. We both have stressful jobs and this was just what we needed to kick off our vacation. The decor was stunning and all the extra touches were beautiful! The bbq started without messing with propane. Fire pit was perfect and the hot tub was a cherry on top! Thank you! Ohhh and the shower shampoo conditioner and body wash! Yummy I smelled like a coconut!"

"Spacious studio (except bathroom which was adequate). Bed was double, not queen but if that is ample size for you and a place away from waterfront crowds is to your liking, it is a good spot. Plenty of kitchen supplies if you are looking to cook."

"Loved our stay. Nice and clean, quiet and peaceful. Amazing yard. Basics were excellent (Bed, Tv & facilities). Definitely recommend."

"This property was comfortable and convenient and we enjoyed our stay here."
