"We go away every summer with another couple and have been to a number of properties in the Maritime region.This property was exceptional! Spotless and stocked with all of the essentials and then some! Plenty of dishes, cutlery, towels, bedding etc. The extra kitchen supplies were a great addition.The property offers a great indoor layout (bright and spacious), great outdoor seating spaces and views. "A week at the Hilltop Retreat was great…a month would have been better. This quaint little cottage provided a cozy but plentiful space for our family of four. We enjoyed the large, open yard, with plenty of room for outdoor activities, and the beautiful ocean view while sitting and drinking coffee every morning. We made great use of the golf clubs, kayaks and bicycles. The cottage provided a great base for us while we explored the south shore. We hope to visit again very soon!"

Lovely hosts, gorgeous cozy property, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, thoughtful information pack, board games in the cupboard, everything spotless, and in a great location within a few minutes walk of Lunenberg’s waterfront, shops and restaurants. Even the flowers at the front were in full bloom and smelled amazing! We toured Canada for 5 weeks, as a family of 4, staying in 14 different locations, and this house was my favourite. "Beautiful spot we had the best time!!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the apple orchard cottage. The house was spacious and had lots of character. Natasha was quick to respond to any questions I had. Only comment as others have mentioned was that we did find it hot upstairs while sleeping. Thankfully Natasha has a big standing fan in each room which helped somewhat. The location was fantastic being just a short drive into Lunenburg and other south shore locations including the Lahave ferry to enjoy the shops and bakery there. We also enjoyed...
