"We found out on arrival that the place we’d booked had had a sewage issue so our host had scrambled to find us somewhere else. While we really appreciated that effort and the fact she met us at the ferry so late, the new place wasn’t great. No wifi, no nearby parking and very dusty. We were told it was available for one less day then we’d booked so we said we’d leave a day early rather than her having to find us somewhere else which worked out fine but meant we paid for accommodation for that...

"We were very close to the national park entrance. The park is beautiful. Loved the waterside restaurants. The accommodation was good particularly each bedroom having ensuite facilites. The over ripe grapes on the vine next to the balcony attracted a lot of wasps. Be aware that there are a lot of steps up to the accommodation."

"The family is extremely friendly! I got stung by a see urchin and the girls got me disinfection and the needle immediately! The room is very spacious and the balcony is just wonderful, which is directly facing the see:) The family-run restaurant is located directly at the water side and the fish plate is just so delicious! Highly recommended!"

"Great appartment to stay in Pomena right next to Mljet National Park and the center of the village. Beautiful island that we loved. Inka our host was great and very helpful. She showed us the nice places to hike. Juste be aware that there is a lot of stairs to get to the appartment which is ok but not the easiest to carry to luggage to the top. Apart from that i recommend this place."

"Nous avons passé une nuit à Pomena et nous avons eu une hôtesse d'accueil très chouette nommée "Inka", qui a fait tout son possible pour nous trouver un taxi lorsque la compagnie de catamaran "Krilo" nous a annoncé qu'avec la météo, elle aborderait à Sobra.
