"This property exceeded my expectations. The room sizes were very large and high ceilings. It truly is a lodge. So many thougtful amenities, right down to makeup towels. There were so many random toys, games and movies, along with the property amenities. The location was ideal. When we had a question, the owners got right back to us. Great communication."

"My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!"

"Beautiful little cabin in a great location. Stocked with everything you might need to make your food in the kitchen, with space to store what you bring. We were overly impressed with the house, accommodations and prompt response to any question we may have had by host. It was a wonderful stay!"
