"The cabin was absolutely amazing!!! The minute you walked in, you felt right at home. It smelled good, kitchen had everything you needed, the location was amazing and the property was beautiful. Joyce and Greg have done an incredible job with this cabin..and the communication with them during our stay was fabulous. Cant wait to visit again"

"My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!"

"Lovely home to use as a home base. Loved seeing the freighters going by. Enjoyed the wildlife this year, Cranes flying south in giant V’s. Bald Eagle Juveniles (4) and 1 Adult Bald Eagle every day, 7 Swans came in for the night. Enjoyed Burgers at Clyde’s Drive In at Rotary Park in Sault St Marie. Enjoyed a whitefish sandwich at the Country Corner Restaurant in Barbeau.Drove down to De Tour to see the top of Lake Huron, the Drummond Island Ferry and saw Pilot boats and the Herbert C Jackson...
