"We rented the house for a long weekend to celebrate our son’s wedding. It ended up being a perfect home base for groomsmen activities. We had the separate sleeping area and the “kids” were all up in the loft “sleep over” style. Lauren made sure we had sleeping spots for everyone. The house worked out great for us to gather together before the wedding to get ready for the big event with a beautiful view of Bellingham Bay in the background…it provided quite the photo opportunity! "We enjoyed an extended stay at Cowboy Cabin. It was great being out in a rural area, and we especially enjoyed watching hawks, swans, and other birds in the marsh across the street. The on-site staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Just know that this is an older building with dents and bruises, and the heating system could use a little attention. I'll bet kids would enjoy the cowboy decor and plenty of room to play in the large living room."

"Such a cute and perfectly sized home for a few folks to stay in! It’s in the best neighborhood of Mount Vernon and super close to the freeway. This is my second time staying here, and I’ll absolutely come back any time I’m in town!"

"This location has a beautiful view of the ocean from the living room, bedroom and out door patio. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful patio faces the sunset with a table for having dinner while watching the sunset and lucky us we got to see orcas eating their dinner at the same time. Inside is decorated in such a modern clean decor. Very comfortable and cozy. Has all the little extras you may need. Great hot tub under the stars . Very enjoyable stay."

"Stay was good! Parking situation needs to be addressed as we had to park on the street. The other tenants took up both parking spaces. Didn’t enjoy the giant spider that came to visit us in the bathroom. Overall as expected. The couch in the living room is pretty uncomfortable to sit on. "

"What a lovely place! Beautiful view of the lake from the deck, where we enjoyed the fire pit and a local brew. The hot tub and sauna were such a welcome relaxation after days of mountain biking in Galby! Having a washer/dryer was also clutch, and allowed us to pack less for the trip. The home was well-appointed with all of the necessities for cooking, right down to fresh coffee beans to make freshly ground coffee! The home was very clean and comfortable, which I truly appreciate. Very minimal...

"Dillon is a great host. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen has everything. The property has a panoramic view of sloping forests, fields and tidal lands. It’s a short walk to an exceptional restaurant (Lascaux), an art gallery, a historic general store, a marina dock, and an oyster farm. A short drive took us to Obstruction Pass Marine Park, which provided a scenic hike."
