"We had a memorable experience at the cottage by the sea. The cottage was cute and cozy. The fireplace is so nice and keeps the whole home warm. The views were what blew me away with this place. We spent the majority of our time on the back deck whale watching. It was just beautiful and we didn’t want to leave. The host and her daughter were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. "Loved my stay! Super clean, nicely and thoughtfully furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The location suited my interests: downtown Anacortes (if you like to walk, it’s an easy 3 mile round trip on Avenue R), the San Juan Islands ferry terminal, and close to several very nice parks on Fidalgo Island. The host, Bev, was very nice and I knew she would be available if I needed anything. I would definitely stay here again. "
