"We had a memorable experience at the cottage by the sea. The cottage was cute and cozy. The fireplace is so nice and keeps the whole home warm. The views were what blew me away with this place. We spent the majority of our time on the back deck whale watching. It was just beautiful and we didn’t want to leave. The host and her daughter were unbelievably friendly and welcoming. They made us delicious dinner and the daughter even gifted me an orca bag because I expressed how much I love orcas. It...

"We loved our family time at Scimitar Ridge Ranch! Plenty of room to spread out for privacy as well as great spaces to congregate. We were charmed by the resident sheep and alpaca, and never tired of the gorgeous views. The location is both perfectly secluded and ideal for exploring the area. The Ranch was very clean, well stocked and comfortable, and the team was very responsive to our needs and questions. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful retreat!"

"The units are either new or just renovated. Still has the new smell. Very clean and awesome setup! Super comfy beds. We have a family of four and it was perfect for us. Super convenient. Don’t let the “no parking spot” scare you. We always found a daytime spot right out front, and an overnight spot just a couple blocks away. We stayed four nights and had an amazing time! "

"We enjoyed our stay in this studio room (ADU). Hosts are friendly and helpful, the space was perfect for us. The room is very well laid out with attention to small details. Sitting on the deck in the evening and the hosts suggestion to spend a few hours at Sunset Beach using their beach chairs were the highlights. Also a nice walk to the Preserve for a stroll. "This is a very nice property in a most beautiful place. At first I was confused because VRBO listed this as being on Whidbey Island, which it is not. However I think we enjoted it much more. The quietness of the area and ease of getting to the island cant be beat. We are hoping to go back next year and stay longer. We were very happy with the communication we had with the owner and he answered all our questions very quickly. Thanks for a great sray."

"The view from the deck is unbeatable. The house is well-stocked and communication with Grant was pleasant and efficient. The quietness and slow pace allowed our family to reconnect. We truly enjoyed our stay. We also loved the fish and chips from the Beach Store Cafe and Bock’s Box coffee next to the cafe. "

"We loved our stay at the nest! Everything was so cute and cozy. There are so many small details in the home and outside that make it magical.There were five kids/teens in our party and they were in heaven! The loft was perfect for them and they loved having their own space out of reach from the adults. They loved the beach, especially low tide and exploring the tide pools. The tide was about -2 when we stayed and they thought the tide pools at the nest were more fun than some popular beaches...

"This is a beautiful property with a great view! The house is beautifully decorated, outfitted and immaculate. Beach is easy to access but rocky. Just to Note: the king bedroom upstairs is an open loft—so great view from there but not private. The larger of the two queen bedrooms is downstairs adjacent to the gane room. Very roomy. The third bedroom is off the kitchen. Arrangement might be important to some but worked for us. The driveway in front of the house is extremely steep with no flat...

"Perfect location for exploring Whitbey Island and surrounding areas. The cottage was perfect and on our arrival we found fresh cut flowers from the beautiful rose gardens. Juanita and Marty were the perfect hosts. We were nice and cozy in the evening and enjoyed seeing the area during the day. "

"Cabin was clean and comfy with fabulous views. Access to beach and location on Penn Cove was spectacular. Only way the stay could have been better is if the skies were sunny and blue and the whales had swam by to say "Hello.". "
