The reason i could not give a 5 star was because of 2 things- 1 is the air conditioning had a hard time keeping up to the heat of the Florida weather. The bedrooms were warm at night, we closed the living room vents trying to get more air in the bedrooms and this seemed to work. 2- the fact that we were not prepared for the desire to not use the toilet for the paper but the trash can. we were informed it was due...

"Our stay at this property on Sanibel Island was mixed. There were a few positives - the beds were decent, the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen had the basics to cook meals. The TV setup was fine too.However, there were several serious issues that made the stay disappointing. The biggest concern was that a rat was living in the only grill, making it completely unusable (in addition to not having any gas) and raising sanitation concerns. "We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed this spacious home. The pool and backyard area were great and where we spent a lot of our time. Home was very clean. The kitchen is huge and really allows multiple people to be there and not crowd each other. It was about a 20-25 minute drive from Ft Myers. Grocery store right down the street. Great place for a large group."
