"Everything about the bear den was perfect! Comfortable, cozy and clean. It has been my favorite place to ever stay! We saw an eagle in the tree right off the front porch! The scenery was amazing and it was so nice to do a fishing charter and go back to a house to make the food you just caught. We enjoyed every single day in Ketchikan and it was so nice to have a wonderful place to relax in the afternoons on the porch and sleep well so the next day you can get up and explore again! "We had a terrific stay on the Lady Faye - we are a family of 4 with 2 teen boys ( age 17 and 13). This is a beautiful ship in an incredible setting - we had coffee in the AM watching floatplanes and cruise ships glide by - in the evening seals and sea lions coupled with fishing cruisers coming and going was beautiful. If you need ice go to Fish From Trish (she has great seafood for sale). Visit as many of the local lakes as you can. They are all beautiful and worth the hike. "
