"This property was perfect for our family of five! Comfortable beds and everything was very neat and clean. Would not hesitate to book this place again! It was so helpful to have laundry detergent provided, as well as things like ziplock baggies. It's the little details that makes places so nice to stay in! The only thing to add would be an electric water kettle for the tea drinkers. "

"My 84 year old father and I had a delightful stay in this beautifully modern and extremely clean apartment. Great proximity to other family staying in Somesville, at Mt Desert Campground - and in Manset. The ride into Bar Harbor etc is not far at all. Kira was so accomodating but at the same time respected our privacy. The grounds are gorgeous and the approach to the house is wonderfully 'Maine'.Definitely looking to rebook for next year! "

"Very clean, modern space. Property owner was very informative and gave perfect instructions for check in/out. Apt was in great location, at end of village, in quiet area of town, but within walking distance to everything, no need to drive for Village activities. Included all necessities. Only upgrade I would suggest would be to add a full length mirror in the bedrooms or somewhere in apt. Otherwise, no complaints! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!"

"Very clean and in a convenient location. Quiet, wooded setting. We were very comfortable there. Eric is an excellent host, and we appreciated his suggestions about hikes, restaurants, and local attractions. There is no cable, so the only TV shows available are on Netflix and Amazon Prime, so bring your passwords."

"My husband, 2 kids and mother enjoyed our stay at this property! The place was super clean and more spacious than the pictures could show! The location was amazing as it was right in the heart of all the action! Jeannie’s Great Maine Breakfast was delish and the recommendation for Royal Indian was fab! We would absolutely stay here again!"

"We had a lovely stay in this beautiful place. The kitchen was well-stocked and had the space and all the tools we needed to cook our meals. The location is perfect, on the quiet side of the island but across the street from a pebble beach and only a half mile to the cute town of Southwest Harbor, with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, art galleries, gift shops and a bakery. It’s an easy drive to some amazing hikes. Perfect for a couple’s getaway!"

"We loved our stay! Pictures didn’t do it justice as indoor and outdoor spaces exceeded our expectations. Owners were accomodating, quick to respond, and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Would absolutely stay here again.For those looking to explore Acadia National Park and sourrounding areas, this side of the island was more relaxed, more authentic, cooler in temp, and more laid back. The owners of this space also own a restaurant in Southwest Harbor called Eat -a - Pita,...

"The included breakfast was so good and highly recommended. There was an electrical outlet in the bathroom that didn’t work. Also, not sure if it was us, but we couldn’t get the door to lock. However, for the location, cleanliness. We would stay here again. I might recommend a bigger refrigerator since we did have leftovers and they didn’t always fit in the fridge. "

"Everything exceeded our expextations. The place was spotless. The road to get the rental was rough. You have to watch out for the pot holes but definitely not a deal breaker. "

"Perfect space for our family to unwind after long days of hiking. Quietness of the location was so peaceful. "

"This was the perfect location, away from the hustle bustle of Bar Harbor, but close enough to all parts of MDI to easily get around. There was also great access to Acadia National Park and the Park Loop Road and the Carriage Roads. The p[lace was perfect. We would stay here again. "

"Great access to Acadia National park makes it easy to go hiking and walking distance to downtown but not in the middle of downtown if you want to stay out of some of the crowds. Property Manager was very helpful and reaponsive."

"Perfect accommodations for us as a couple. Exceptionally clean; if a convenient location to Acadia NP and Bar Harbor is on your list, this meets the mark. Room is well organized, comfortable and has loads of light. Loved being in a neighborhood surrounded by trees and wildlife. "

"This property is in a beautiful setting. The facilities are excellent. We were provided with everything we needed and more. The location is close to just about everything you might want to see or do on the island. Our hosts were gracious and responded to any questions we had quickly."
